Mercado is a farm-themed art exhibition and farmers showcase at Play Full Ground that brought together local artists, small farmers, and community members in a shared, market-like setting. The studio featured farmers-market–style tables, an outdoor pumpkin patch, and farm-inspired artworks displayed on walls and throughout the space. By placing agricultural produce and the people who grow it within an art context, the project created a point of connection between the Monterey Peninsula and the Salinas Valley. Visitors were invited to meet artists and farmers, engage with both art and food, and experience the studio as a space for exchange, dialogue, and community connection.
