Kiwifruit is an ongoing series of instruction-based performance videos inspired by Yoko Ono’s Grapefruit. The artist enacts her own and others’ instructions, using the body as a site for testing fear, attention, endurance, and care. The project began with confronting a long-held fear of eating kiwifruit following a childhood allergic reaction and expanded into everyday yet demanding actions such as eating a raw onion, screaming into the wind, lying on the ground, or responding to simple prompts like “Water.”

Shared through Instagram and YouTube, the videos invite a remote audience to witness moments of risk and vulnerability that are both ordinary and charged, framing instruction as a tool for reflection, resilience, and embodied awareness.
